नेदं प्रतिधनं शास्त्रमापद्धर्मानुशास्त्रत: । आज्ञा शास्त्रस्य घोरेयं न शक्ति समवेक्षते

Transliteration

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |

nedaṃ pratidhanaṃ śāstram āpaddharmānuśāsataḥ |

ājñā śāstrasya ghoreyaṃ na śaktiṃ samavekṣate ||

Translation

ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရက ပြောသည်— «ဤကျမ်းစာ၏ ‘ဥစ္စာဖြင့် ပြန်လည်ပေးဆပ်ခြင်း’ ဆိုင်ရာ စည်းကမ်းသည် အရေးပေါ်ကာလဓမ္မ (အာပဒ္ဓမ္မ) သင်ကြားချက်များနှင့် မကိုက်ညီ။ ကျွန်ုပ်အမြင်တွင် ဤရှာသ္တရ၏ အမိန့်သည် ကြမ်းတမ်းလှသည်၊ အလှူရှင်၏ အမှန်တကယ် စွမ်းအား—မည်မျှပေးနိုင်သည်ကို မကြည့်ရှုသဖြင့် ဖြစ်သည်»
