अर्नीर्षर्गुप्तदार: स्याच्चोक्ष: स्थादघृणी नृप: । स्त्रिय: सेवेत नात्यर्थ मृष्ट भुज्जीत नाहितम्
anīrṣyā-rakṣa-gupta-dāraḥ syāc chokṣaḥ sthād aghṛṇī nṛpaḥ | striyaḥ seveta nātyarthaṃ mṛṣṭaṃ bhuñjīta nāhitam ||
ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်တော်မူသည်—မင်းသည် မနာလိုစိတ်ကင်း၍ မိမိမယားကို ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ရမည်။ အကျင့်စာရိတ္တ၌ သန့်ရှင်းစင်ကြယ်နေသော်လည်း မည်သူ့ကိုမျှ မုန်းတီးစိတ် မထားရ။ မိန်းမတို့နှင့် အလွန်အကျွံ မပျော်ပါးရ။ သန့်ရှင်း၍ အာဟာရပြည့်ဝကာ အရသာကောင်းသော အစာကို စားသော်လည်း အန္တရာယ်ဖြစ်စေသော အစာကို မစားရ။
