यावद्धि प्रथते लोके पुरुषस्य यशो भुवि । तावत् तस्याक्षयं स्थान भवतीति विनिश्चिता,जगत्में जबतक भूतलपर मनुष्यके यशका विस्तार होता रहता है, तबतक उसकी परलोकमें अचल स्थिति बनी रहती है, यह निश्चय है
yāvaddhi prathate loke puruṣasya yaśo bhuvi | tāvat tasya akṣayaṁ sthānaṁ bhavatīti viniścitā ||
ဝါယုဒေဝက မိန့်တော်မူသည်။ လူတစ်ယောက်၏ ဂုဏ်သတင်းသည် ဤလောက မြေပြင်ပေါ်၌ ဆက်လက်ပျံ့နှံ့နေသမျှ—ထိုကာလတလျှောက်လုံး—သူ၏ ပရလောက၌ အနေအထားသည် မပျက်မယွင်း အမြဲတည်မြဲနေမည်ဟု အတည်ပြုထား၏။

Enduring fame (yaśas) that continues among people is presented as a sign and support of an imperishable posthumous standing; therefore one should pursue dharmic conduct that leaves a lasting, beneficial memory in the world.
