Bhīṣma’s Hymn to Viṣṇu and Kṛṣṇa’s Criteria for Divine Self-Disclosure
पजञ्चाशतं षट् च कुरुप्रवीर शेष दिनानां तव जीवितस्य । तत: शुभै: कर्मफलोदयैस्त्व॑ समेष्यसे भीष्म विमुच्य देहम्
pañcāśataṃ ṣaṭ ca kurupravīra śeṣa-dinānāṃ tava jīvitasya | tataḥ śubhaiḥ karma-phalodayais tvaṃ sameṣyase bhīṣma vimucya deham ||
ဝါယုက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «အို ကုရုတို့၏ အထွတ်အမြတ် သူရဲကောင်း၊ သင့်အသက်တာတွင် နေ့ပေါင်း ငါးဆယ်ခြောက် ရက်သာ ကျန်သေးသည်။ ထို့နောက်၊ အို ဘီရှ္မ၊ ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာကို စွန့်လွှတ်ပြီး သင်၏ ကုသိုလ်ကံ၏ အကျိုးပွင့်ထွန်းမှုကြောင့် မင်္ဂလာရှိသော လောကများသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်»။
