इतिहासमिमं पुण्यं मोक्षधर्मोपसंहितम्‌ । धारयेद्‌ यः शमपर: स गच्छेत्‌ परमां गतिम्‌

itihāsam imaṁ puṇyaṁ mokṣadharmopasaṁhitam | dhārayed yaḥ śamaparaḥ sa gacchet paramāṁ gatim ||

ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်—အတွင်းစိတ်ငြိမ်းချမ်းမှုကို အားထားသူ မည်သူမဆို၊ မောက္ခဓမ္မ (လွတ်မြောက်ခြင်း၏ ဓမ္မ) နှင့် ဆက်စပ်သော ဤသန့်ရှင်းသော အတ္ထုပ္ပတ္တိကို နားထောင်သော်လည်းကောင်း၊ လေ့လာဖတ်ရှုသော်လည်းကောင်း၊ ထို့နောက် နှလုံးသား၌ တင်းတင်းကျပ်ကျပ် ထိန်းသိမ်းထားနိုင်လျှင် အမြင့်ဆုံးသော အဆုံးတိုင်—အထွတ်အထိပ် လွတ်မြောက်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရှိမည်။
