Adhyāya 33 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Post-Conflict Remorse and Inquiry on Āśrama Discipline (शोक-विमर्शः, आश्रम-जिज्ञासा)

वत्सलत्वाद द्विजश्रेष्ठ तत्र मे नास्ति संशय: । व्यक्त सौक्ष्म्याच्च धर्मस्य प्राप्स्याम: स्त्रीवधं वयम्‌

vatsalatvād dvijaśreṣṭha tatra me nāsti saṁśayaḥ | vyakta-saukṣmyāc ca dharmasya prāpsyāmaḥ strī-vadhaṁ vayam ||

ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရက ပြောသည်—«နှစ်ကြိမ်မွေးတို့အနက် အကောင်းဆုံးသော ဘြာဟ္မဏရေ၊ ငါ့မှာ သံသယမရှိ။ ကိုယ့်ဆွေမျိုးသားချင်းတို့အပေါ် ချစ်ခင်မေတ္တာကြောင့် သူတို့သည် အမှန်ပင် ထိုသို့ ပြုကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထို့ပြင် ဓမ္မ၏ လမ်းကြောင်းသည် အလွန်သိမ်မွေ့၍ ခွဲခြားသိမြင်ရန်ခက်သဖြင့် ငါတို့လည်း မိန်းမသတ်ခြင်း၏ အပြစ်ကို မလွဲမသွေ ဝေမျှခံရလိမ့်မည်»။
