Yajña-bhāga-vyavasthā and the Pravṛtti–Nivṛtti Framework (यज्ञभागव्यवस्था तथा प्रवृत्तिनिवृत्तिधर्मविवेचनम्)
शिष्याणां वचन श्रुत्वा व्यासो वेदार्थतत्त्ववित् । पराशरात्मजो धीमान् परलोकार्थचिन्तक:
śiṣyāṇāṁ vacanaṁ śrutvā vyāso vedārtha-tattva-vit | parāśarātmajo dhīmān paralokārtha-cintakaḥ ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– တပည့်တို့၏ စကားကို ကြားသော်၊ ဝေဒအဓိပ္ပါယ်၏ အမှန်တရားကို သိမြင်သော ပညာရှိ ဗျာသ—ပရာရှရာ၏ သား၊ ဉာဏ်ကြီးသူ၊ နောက်ဘဝအကျိုးကို အမြဲစဉ်းစားသူ—သည် လောကီအကျိုးထက် ဓမ္မအကျိုးကို ရည်ရွယ်၍ သူတို့၏ တောင်းဆိုချက်ကို စဉ်းစားသုံးသပ်လေ၏။
