Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)

नन्‍यूनं कष्टशब्दं वा विक्रमाभिहितं न च न शेषमनु कल्पेन निष्कारणमहेतुकम्‌

na nyūnaṃ kaṣṭaśabdaṃ vā vikramābhihitaṃ na ca | na śeṣam anu kalpena niṣkāraṇam ahetukam ||

ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «ငါ့မိန့်ခွန်းတွင် ချန်လှပ်မှုကြောင့် ဖြစ်သော ချို့ယွင်းချက် မရှိစေရ၊ ကြမ်းတမ်းခက်ခဲသော စကားလုံးများ မသုံးစေရ၊ အစဉ်အလာအစီအစဉ် မပျက်စေရ။ နားလည်ရန်အတွက် ပျောက်နေသော စကားလုံးများကို အတင်းဖြည့်ထည့်ရခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် အလွှာလိုက် အဓိပ္ပါယ်ညွှန်းခြင်းတို့ မလိုအပ်စေရ။ ထို့ပြင် အကျိုးမဲ့သော စကားလည်း မဟုတ်၊ အကြောင်းပြချက်ကင်းမဲ့သော စကားလည်း မဟုတ်စေရ»။
