Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)

युलभोवाच नवभिरन्नवश्िश्वैव दोषैर्वग्बुद्धिदूषणै: । अपेतमुपपन्नार्थमष्टादशगुणान्वितम्‌

sulabhovāca navabhir annaiva doṣair vāgbuddhidūṣaṇaiḥ | apetam upapannārtham aṣṭādaśaguṇānvitam ||

စုလဘားက ပြော၏—“အို မင်းကြီး၊ ‘ဝါကျ’ (vākya) ဟူသည် အဓိပ္ပါယ်ကောင်းစွာညီညွတ်၍ အထောက်အထားပြည့်စုံသည့် စကားလုံးစုဖြစ်ပြီး၊ စကားကိုပျက်စီးစေသော အပြစ်ကိုးပါးနှင့် ဉာဏ်ကိုပျက်စီးစေသော အပြစ်ကိုးပါးတို့မှ ကင်းလွတ်ကာ၊ ဂုဏ်တော်တစ်ဆယ့်ရှစ်ပါးနှင့် ပြည့်စုံရမည်။ ထိုဝါကျတွင် အဓိပ္ပါယ်ငါးမျိုး—သိမ်မွေ့မှု၊ ခွဲခြမ်းစိတ်ဖြာ၍ရှင်းလင်းမှု (sāṅkhya)၊ အစဉ်အလာမှန်ကန်မှု၊ ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်ရှင်းလင်းမှု၊ နှင့် ရည်ရွယ်ချက်တိတိကျကျ—တို့ ပါဝင်သင့်သည်။”
