यच्चेतिहासेषु महत्सु दृष्टं यच्चार्थशास्त्रे नृप शिष्टजुष्टे । ज्ञानं च लोके यदिहास्ति किंचित्‌ सांख्यागतं तच्च महन्महात्मन्‌

Transliteration

yac caitihāseṣu mahatsu dṛṣṭaṃ yac cārthaśāstre nṛpa śiṣṭajuṣṭe | jñānaṃ ca loke yad ihāsti kiṃcit sāṅkhyāgataṃ tac ca mahan mahātman, nareśa! ||

Translation

ဘိဿမက မိန့်ကြားသည်– «မင်းကြီးရေ၊ ကြီးမားသော အီတိဟာသများတွင် တွေ့မြင်ရသမျှ၊ ပညာရှိတို့က လက်ခံကျင့်သုံးသော အာဿသတ္တရ် (နိုင်ငံရေးနှင့် စီးပွားရေးပညာ) တွင် ရှိသမျှ၊ ထို့ပြင် ဤလောက၌ ရှိသမျှ အလွန်မြင့်မြတ်သော ဉာဏ်ပညာတစ်စုံတစ်ရာ—အရာအားလုံးသည် မဟာစိတ်ရှိသော လူတို့၏အရှင်ရေ၊ သင်္ခယမှပင် ဆင်းသက်လာသည်။»
