Mahābhārata 12.292
गौरवेण परित्यक्तं नि:स्नेहं परिवर्जयेत् । सोदर्य भ्रातरमपि किमुतान्यं पृथग्जनम्
gauraveṇa parityaktaṁ niḥsnehaṁ parivarjayet | sodaryā bhrātaram api kim utānyaṁ pṛthagjanam ||
ပရာရှရက မိန့်တော်မူ၏— «အထင်သေး၍ စွန့်ပစ်သွားသူ၊ ချစ်ခင်မှုမရှိသူကို ရှောင်ကြဉ်ရမည်။ မိခင်တူညီသော ညီအစ်ကိုတောင် ထိုသို့ဖြစ်လျှင် စွန့်လွှတ်ရမည်ဆိုလျှင်၊ ဆွေမျိုးမဟုတ်သော အပြင်လူကိုတော့ ပို၍ မဆိုရသေးသနည်း»။
