महेश्वर उवाच सुरैरेव महाभागे पूर्वमेतदनुछितम् । यज्ञेषु सर्वेषु मम न भाग उपकल्पित:
Maheśvara uvāca: surair eva mahābhāge pūrvam etad anuṣṭhitam | yajñeṣu sarveṣu mama na bhāga upakalpitaḥ ||
မဟေရှ္ဝရက ပြောသည်– «အို မဟာဘဂ္ဂါ မိန်းမမြတ်၊ ဤအစီအစဉ်ကို ရှေးကတည်းက နတ်တို့ပင် သတ်မှတ်ခဲ့ကြ၏။ ယဇ္ဉပူဇာ အားလုံးတွင် ငါ့အတွက် အစိတ်အပိုင်းတစ်စိတ်တစ်ပိုင်းမျှ မသတ်မှတ်ခဲ့ကြ။ ထို့ကြောင့် သူတို့၏ ရှေးက ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်အရ ငါသည် ယဇ္ဉ၏ အပိုင်းအခြားမှ ဖယ်ရှားခံရ၏»။
