अध्याय २८१ — दानधर्मः, न्यायागतधनम्, ऋणत्रय-परिशोधनं च
Dāna ethics, lawful wealth, and settling obligations
अग्निरुवाच मम मोक्षस्य कोडच्तो वै ब्रह्मन् ध्यायस्व वै प्रभो । एतदिच्छामि विज्ञातुं तत्तवतो लोकपूजित
agnir uvāca mama mokṣasya ko ’ntaḥ vai brahman dhyāyasva vai prabho | etad icchāmi vijñātuṁ tattvato lokapūjita ||
အဂ္ဂိက ပြော၏— «အို ဗြာဟ္မဏ၊ အို အလွန်လေးစားအပ်သော အရှင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်၏ လွတ်မြောက်ခြင်းအတွက် အမှန်တကယ်သော အဆုံးသတ်ကာလ—နောက်ဆုံးကန့်သတ်ချက်—ကို စဉ်းစား၍ သတ်မှတ်ပေးပါ။ ကမ္ဘာလောကတို့က ဂုဏ်ပြုကြသော အရှင်၊ ဗြာဟ္မဏသတ်မှု (brahmahatyā) ၏ အညစ်အကြေးမှ ကျွန်ုပ်သည် မည်သည့်အခါ၊ မည်သို့ လွတ်မြောက်နိုင်မည်ကို တိတိကျကျ သိလိုပါသည်»။
