मैवमित्यब्रवीद् व्यासो निगृहाय मुनिसत्तम: । वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं-जनमेजय! अपने बन्धु-जनोंके शोकसे विह्बल होकर युधिष्ठिरको ऐसी बातें करते देख मुनिवर व्यासजीने उन्हें रोककर कहा--“नहीं, ऐसा नहीं हो सकता”
māivam ity abravīd vyāso nigṛhāya munisattamaḥ |
ဝૈရှမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်— «ဇနမေဇယ မင်းကြီးရေ၊ မိမိဆွေမျိုးတို့အတွက် ဝမ်းနည်းပူဆွေးမှုကြောင့် မောဟိုက်နေသော ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရက ထိုသို့ပြောဆိုနေသည်ကို မြင်သော်၊ တပဿီတို့အနက် အမြတ်ဆုံး မဟာမုနိ ဗျာသက သူ့ကို တားဆီး၍ ‘မဟုတ်၊ ထိုသို့ မဖြစ်နိုင်’ ဟု ဆို하였다»
