Adhyāya 240: Indriya–Manas–Buddhi–Ātman — The Inner Hierarchy and Restraint (इन्द्रिय-मनस्-बुद्धि-आत्म-क्रमः)
है अर छा | अ-क्रा - अन्तःकरणमें जो ज्ञानशक्ति है
vyāsa uvāca | pṛcchatas tava satputra yathāvad iha tattvataḥ | sāṅkhyajñānena saṃyuktaṃ yad etat kīrtitaṃ mayā ||
ဗျာသက ပြောသည်– «အကျင့်သီလကောင်းသော သားရေ၊ သင်မေးမြန်းသကဲ့သို့ ဤနေရာ၌ အကြောင်းအရာ၏ အမှန်တရားကို သင့်တင့်မှန်ကန်စွာ၊ သဘောတရားအရ ငါဖော်ပြပြီးပြီ။ ငါဆိုခဲ့သမျှသည် စာṅခယာ-ပညာ (Sāṅkhya)—ခွဲခြားသိမြင်ခြင်း—နှင့် ဆက်စပ်သောအရာများဖြစ်၍၊ လွတ်မြောက်ခြင်းသို့ မြင့်မားသော လမ်းစဉ်အတွက် အခြေခံကို ချထားသည်»။
