श्वश्रूश्वशुरयोरग्रे वधू: प्रेष्यानशासत
śvaśrūśvaśurayor agre vadhūḥ preṣyān aśāsata
သက္ကရာ မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «ယောက္ခမနှင့် ယောက္ခဖတို့၏ မျက်မှောက်တင်ပင်၊ သတို့သမီးငယ်သည် အိမ်ထောင်ဝန်ထမ်းများကို ညွှန်ကြားအမိန့်ပေးလေသည်»။
शक्र उवाच
The verse highlights norms of dharma in household life: a daughter-in-law should act with modesty and deference before elders; overtly exercising authority in their presence is portrayed as improper conduct.
Śakra (Indra) describes a situation in which a bride, instead of behaving with restraint before her in-laws, openly orders the servants in front of them—used as an example to illustrate (or critique) a lapse in proper domestic decorum.
