Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:
Yathā buddhyā mahīpālo bhraṣṭaśrī vicaren mahīm |
Kāladaṇḍa-viniṣpiṣṭas tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||
ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရ (Yudhiṣṭhira) က ပြောသည်—“အို အဘိုးကြီး (Grandfather)၊ ငါ့အား ဤအကြောင်းကို ပြောပြပါ။ မင်းတစ်ပါးသည် မင်းစည်းစိမ်နှင့် တန်ခိုးအလှကို ဆုံးရှုံးပြီးနောက်၊ ကာလ၏ ဒဏ်တံ (Time) ကြောင့် ဖိနှိပ်ချေမှုန်းခံရသော်လည်း၊ မိမိ၏ မှန်ကန်သော ဉာဏ်အမြင်ဖြင့် မြေပြင်ပေါ်၌ မည်သို့ လှည့်လည်နေထိုင်နိုင်သနည်း?”
