Vyaktāvyakta-Viveka and Nivṛtti as Paramā Gati

Manifest–Unmanifest Discrimination and the Supreme Path of Withdrawal

मन: सत्त्वगुणं प्राहु: सत्त्वमव्यक्तजं तथा । सर्वभूतात्मभूतस्थं तस्माद्‌ बुद्धोत बुद्धिमान्‌

manaḥ sattvaguṇaṃ prāhuḥ sattvam avyaktajaṃ tathā | sarvabhūtātma-bhūtasthaṃ tasmād buddho buddhi-mān (jānīyāt) ||

ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်တော်မူသည်။ စိတ် (manas) ကို သတ္တဝ (sattva) ဂုဏ်ဖြင့် ဖွဲ့စည်းထားသည်ဟု ဆိုကြပြီး၊ သတ္တဝသည်လည်း မဖော်ပြနိုင်သော အဗျက္တ (Prakṛti) မှ ပေါ်ထွန်းလာသည်ဟု ဆိုကြသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် နိုးကြား၍ ခွဲခြားသိမြင်နိုင်သော ပညာရှိသည် သတ္တဝါအားလုံး၏ အတ္တဖြစ်သော အမြင့်မြတ်သခင်ကို သတ္တဝါအပေါင်းတို့အတွင်း တည်ရှိနေသည်ဟု သိမြင်ရမည်။
