प्रतिज्ञा तेडन्यूथा राजन्‌ विचेष्टा चान्यथा तव । यद्‌ राज्यं महदुत्सृज्य स्वल्पे तुष्यसि पार्थिव

Transliteration

pratijñā te 'nyathā rājan viceṣṭā cānyathā tava | yad rājyaṁ mahad utsṛjya svalpe tuṣyasi pārthiva ||

Translation

အာర్జုနက ပြော၏—“အရှင်ဘုရင်၊ သင်၏ ကတိသစ္စာသည် တစ်မျိုးဖြစ်သကဲ့သို့၊ သင်၏ အပြုအမူသည် တစ်မျိုးဖြစ်နေသည်။ လူတို့၏ အုပ်စိုးရှင်၊ ကြီးမားသော နိုင်ငံတော်ကို စွန့်လွှတ်ပြီး ယခု သင်သည် အနည်းငယ်သော အရာ၌ပင် ကျေနပ်နေ၏။”
