भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । पितुः पुत्रेण संवाद तं निबोध युधिष्ठिर
bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | pituḥ putreṇa saṃvādaṃ taṃ nibodha yudhiṣṭhira ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောလေ၏—«ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရ၊ ဤအကြောင်း၌လည်း ရှေးဟောင်းအထောက်အထားတစ်ရပ်ကို ဥပမာအဖြစ် ကိုးကားကြသည်—အဖနှင့် သား၏ ဆွေးနွေးပြောဆိုမှုတစ်ပုဒ်ပင် ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုစကားဝိုင်းကို သေချာစွာ နားထောင်၍ နားလည်လော့»။
