जघान गौतमो राजन्‌ यथा दस्युगणास्तथा । हिंसापटर्घणाहीन: सदा प्राणिवधे रत:

Transliteration

jaghāna gautamo rājan yathā dasyugaṇās tathā | hiṁsāpaṭarghaṇāhīnaḥ sadā prāṇivadhē rataḥ ||

Translation

ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «အို မင်းကြီး၊ ဂေါတမသည် လုယက်သူအုပ်စုများကဲ့သို့ သတ္တဝါတို့ကို သတ်ဖြတ်하였다။ အကြမ်းဖက်မှုကို တားဆီးသည့် စည်းကမ်းမရှိဘဲ၊ သတ္တဝါသတ်ခြင်း၌ အမြဲတမ်း စိတ်ဝင်စားနေ하였다။»
