भीष्म उवाच अत्र ते वर्तयिष्यामि पुराणमृषिसंस्तुतम्‌ । इन्द्रोत: शौनको विप्रो यदाह जनमेजयम्‌

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | atra te vartayiṣyāmi purāṇam ṛṣi-saṁstutam | indrotaḥ śaunako vipro yad āha janamejayam ||

Translation

ဘိဿမက ဆိုသည်– «ဤအကြောင်း၌ ငါသည် ရှေးဟောင်းပုံပြင်တစ်ပုဒ်ကို—ရသေ့တို့က ချီးမွမ်းထားသော ပုံပြင်ကို—သင်အား ပြောပြမည်။ ၎င်းသည် ရှောနကမျိုးရိုးမှ ဗြာဟ္မဏ အိန္ဒြောတက တစ်ခါက ဘုရင် ဇနမေဇယအား ပြောခဲ့သော စကားဖြစ်သည်»။
