भीष्म उवाच अत्र ते वर्तयिष्यामि नीतिमापत्सु भारत । उत्सृज्यापि घृणां काले यथा वर्तेत भूमिप:

bhīṣma uvāca | atra te vartayiṣyāmi nītim āpatsu bhārata | utsṛjyāpi ghṛṇāṃ kāle yathā varteta bhūmipaḥ ||

ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «အို ဘာရတ၊ ဤနေရာ၌ ငါသည် အပတ်ကာလ—ဘေးအန္တရာယ်ကာလတွင် လိုက်နာရမည့် နီတိကို သင်အား ရှင်းပြမည်။ အချိန်က တောင်းဆိုလာသည့်အခါ ဘုရင်သည် အချိန်နှင့်တပြေးညီ တည်ကြည်သော ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်ဖြင့် လုပ်ဆောင်ရပြီး၊ ကရုဏာကိုပင် ခဏတစ်လှည့် ဘေးဖယ်ထားရနိုင်သည်»။
