Draupadī’s Exhortation on Rājadharma and Daṇḍa (द्रौपद्याः राजधर्मोपदेशः)
यजतां विविधैर्यज्जै: समृद्धैराप्तदक्षिणै: । वनवासकृतं दु:ःखं भविष्यति सुखाय व:
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
yajatāṁ vividhair yajñaiḥ samṛddhair āptadakṣiṇaiḥ |
vanavāsakṛtaṁ duḥkhaṁ bhaviṣyati sukhāya vaḥ, rājan ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယန မိန့်ကြားသည်– «အို မင်းကြီး၊ အမျိုးမျိုးသော စည်းစိမ်ပြည့်ဝသည့် ယဇ်ပူဇော်ပွဲများကို ဆောင်ရွက်၍ သတ်မှတ်ထားသော လှူဒါန်းခြင်းနှင့် ဒက္ခိဏာ (ပူဇော်ခ) များဖြင့် ပြည့်စုံအောင် ပြီးမြောက်စေပါက၊ တောနေရခြင်းမှ ဖြစ်သော ဒုက္ခသည် သင်တို့အားလုံးအတွက် သုခအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲသွားလိမ့်မည်»။
