आपद्धर्मे राज्ञः नीतिः — Bharadvāja’s Counsel on Crisis-Statecraft (Śānti Parva 138)
नातिगाधे जलाधारे सुहृदः कुशलास्त्रय: । प्रभूतमत्स्ये कौन्तेय बभूवु: सहचारिण:
bhīṣma uvāca | nātigādhe jalādhāre suhṛdaḥ kuśalās trayaḥ | prabhūtamatsye kaunteya babhūvuḥ sahacāriṇaḥ ||
ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်တော်မူသည်—«ကွန်တီ၏သားတော်၊ အလွန်မနက်သော ရေကန်တစ်ကန်တွင် ငါးများစွာ ပြည့်နှက်နေရာ၌ အလုပ်ကျွမ်းကျင်သော ငါးသုံးကောင် နေထိုင်ကြ၏။ ထိုငါးသုံးကောင်သည် အမြဲတမ်း အတူတကွ လှုပ်ရှားသွားလာကြပြီး တစ်ကောင်နှင့်တစ်ကောင် မိတ်ဆွေကောင်းများ ဖြစ်ကြ၏»။
