मातापितृगुरुपूजा-प्रशंसा
Praise of Venerating Mother, Father, and Teacher
भीष्म उवाच मातापित्रोर्गुरूणां च पूजा बहुमता मम । इह युक्तो नरो लोकान् यशश्च महदश्लुते
bhīṣma uvāca mātāpitrorgurūṇāṃ ca pūjā bahumatā mama | iha yukto naro lokān yaśaś ca mahad aśnute ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «ငါ့အမြင်အရ မိဘနှင့် ဆရာတို့ကို ရိုသေကန်တော့ခြင်းသည် အရေးအကြီးဆုံးဖြစ်သည်။ ဤလောက၌ ဤကောင်းမှုကို စိတ်အားထက်သန်စွာ ကျင့်သုံးသူသည် ကြီးမားသောဂုဏ်သတင်းကို ရရှိပြီး နောက်လောက၌လည်း မြင့်မြတ်သော လောကများသို့ ရောက်ရှိသည်»။
