Jaitrya-nimitta: Signs of Prospective Victory and the Priority of Conciliation (जयलक्षण-निमित्त तथा सान्त्व-प्रधान नीति)
प्रसन्नभा: पावकश्षोर्ध्वरश्मि: प्रदक्षिणावर्त शिखो विधूम: । पुण्या गन्धाश्वाहुतीनां भवन्ति जयस्यैतद् भाविनो रूपमाहु:
bhīṣma uvāca | prasannabhāḥ pāvakaś cordhvaraśmiḥ pradakṣiṇāvartaśikho vidhūmaḥ | puṇyā gandhāś cāhūtīnāṁ bhavanti jayasya etad bhāvino rūpam āhuḥ ||
ဘိဿမက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «ယဇ်မီးသည် မီးခိုးမထွက်ဘဲ လောင်ကျွမ်း၍ မီးလျှံသည် ကြည်လင်တည်ငြိမ်ကာ အပေါ်သို့ တက်လှန်သော်လည်းကောင်း၊ ညာဘက်သို့ ကွေ့သွားသော်လည်းကောင်း၊ ထို့ပြင် အာဟုတီ (ပူဇော်သက္ကာ) တို့၏ သန့်ရှင်းသော အနံ့ ပေါ်ထွက်လာသော်—ဤအရာတို့ကို အောင်ပွဲနီးလာပြီဟု ညွှန်ပြသော မင်္ဂလာနိမိတ်ဟု ကြေညာကြသည်»။
