त॑ ज्ञात्वा पतितं कूपे भ्रातरावेकतद्वितौ । वृकत्रासाच्च लोभाच्च समुत्सृज्य प्रजग्मतु:,अपने भाईको कुएँमें गिरा हुआ जानकर भी दोनों भाई एकत और द्वित भेड़ियेके भय और लोभसे उन्हें वहीं छोड़कर चल दिये
taṁ jñātvā patitaṁ kūpe bhrātarāv ekatadvitau | vṛkatrāsāc ca lobhāc ca samutsṛjya prajagmatuḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယန မိန့်တော်မူသည်– မိမိတို့အစ်ကိုသည် ရေတွင်းထဲသို့ ကျသွားကြောင်း သိလျက်ပင်၊ ဧကတ်နှင့် ဒွိတ် ဟူသော ညီအစ်ကိုနှစ်ယောက်သည် ဝံပုလွေကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းနှင့် လောဘကြောင့် သူ့ကို ထိုနေရာ၌ပင် စွန့်ပစ်ကာ ထွက်ခွာသွားကြ၏။
