नकुलो>प्यग्रसत् तां वै चर्मणा लघुविक्रम: । उस समय चित्रसेन पैदल आक्रमण करनेवाले नकुलके ऊपर बाणोंकी वृष्टि करने लगा। परंतु शीघ्रतापूर्वक पराक्रम प्रकट करनेवाले नकुलने ढालके द्वारा ही रोककर उस बाण-वर्षाको नष्ट कर दिया

သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– နကူလလည်း ရှေ့သို့ တိုးဝင်လာ၏။ လှုပ်ရှားမှုမြန်ဆန်သူဖြစ်သဖြင့် မိမိ၏ ဒိုင်းဖြင့် လာရောက်ကျရောက်သည့် မြားမိုးကို တားဆီးကာ မိမိအပေါ်သို့ ဦးတည်ပစ်ခတ်လာသော မြားမိုးကို ပျက်ပြားစေ하였다။ ဤမြင်ကွင်းသည် စစ်မြေပြင်၌ စည်းကမ်းရှိသော သတ္တိကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်—အကြမ်းဖက်မှုကို အလျင်အမြန်မတုန့်ပြန်ဘဲ သတိရှိသော ကာကွယ်မှုနှင့် ထိန်းချုပ်ထားသော ဝီရိယဖြင့် ရင်ဆိုင်ခြင်းပင် ဖြစ်သည်။
