Aśvatthāmā’s Stuti of Rudra and Śiva’s Empowerment (सौप्तिकपर्व, अध्याय ७)
एवमुक््त्वा महात्मानं भगवानात्मनस्तनुम् । आविवेश ददौ चास्मै विमलं खड्गमुत्तमम्
evam uktvā mahātmānaṃ bhagavān ātmanas tanum | āviveśa dadau cāsmai vimalaṃ khaḍgam uttamam ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– «ထိုသို့ မဟာသတ္တဝါအား မိန့်ကြားပြီးနောက်၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိ၏ ကိုယ်ထည်သို့ ပြန်လည်ဝင်ရောက်တော်မူ၏။ ထို့ပြင် အပြစ်ကင်းစင်သန့်ရှင်း၍ အထူးမြတ်သော ဓားတစ်လက်ကိုလည်း သူ့အား ပေးအပ်တော်မူ၏»။
