Śiśupāla-vadha in the Rājasūya-sabhā (शिशुपालवधः — राजसूयसभायाम्)
नातिचक्राम भीष्मस्य स हि वाक्यमरिंदम: । समुदवृत्तो घनापाये वेलामिव महोदधि:
nāticakrāma bhīṣmasya sa hi vākyam ariṃdamaḥ | samudavṛtto ghanāpāye velām iva mahodadhiḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်– ရန်သူနှိမ်နင်းသူသည် ဘီရှ္မ၏ အမိန့်ကို မကျော်လွန်ခဲ့။ မိုးရာသီအဆုံးတွင် လှိုင်းလုံးကြီး၍ ပင်လယ်ရေတက်လာသော်လည်း မဟာသမုဒ္ဒရာသည် မိမိကမ်းခြေကို မကျော်လွန်သကဲ့သို့ပင်။ ဤဥပမာသည် တရားသင့်သော အာဏာ၏ နယ်နိမိတ်အတွင်း၌ အင်အားကို ထိန်းသိမ်းထားသော စည်းကမ်းတကျ ချုပ်တည်းမှုကို ဖော်ပြသည်။
