Bhīṣma–Śiśupāla-saṃvādaḥ
Bhishma and Shishupala’s exchange in the assembly
भुक्तमेतेन बद्धन्नं क्रीडता नगमूर्थनि । इति ते भीष्म शृण्वाना: परे विस्मयमागता:,भीष्म! कृष्णने गोवर्धनपर्वतके शिखरपर खेलते हुए अकेले ही बहुत-सा अन्न खा लिया, यह बात भी तुम्हारे मुँहले सुनकर दूसरे लोगोंको ही आश्चर्य हुआ होगा (मुझे नहीं)
bhuktam etena baddhānnaṁ krīḍatā nagamūrdhani | iti te bhīṣma śṛṇvānāḥ pare vismayam āgatāḥ ||
ရှိရှုပာလက ပြောသည်– «အို ဘီရှ္မ၊ ဂိုဝර්ဓနတောင်ထိပ်ပေါ်မှာ ကစားရင်း သူတစ်ယောက်တည်း ချက်ပြုတ်ထားတဲ့ အစာအများကြီးကို စားသွားတယ်လို့ ဆိုကြတယ်။ သင့်ပါးစပ်က ထွက်လာတဲ့ ဒီစကားတွေကို ကြားရင် တခြားသူတွေကတော့ အံ့ဩသွားမယ်—ငါတော့ မဟုတ်ဘူး»
