Adhyāya 31: Rājasūya-samāgama — The Gathering of Kings and the Ordering of Hospitality
गच्छ पाण्डवशार्दूल रत्नान्यादाय सर्वश: । अविध्नमस्तु कार्याय धर्मराजाय धीमते,'पाण्डवप्रवर! तुम सब प्रकारके रत्नोंकी भेंट लेकर जाओ। परम बुद्धिमान् धर्मराजके कार्यमें कोई विघ्न नहीं पड़ना चाहिये"
gaccha pāṇḍavaśārdūla ratnāny ādāya sarvaśaḥ | avidhnam astu kāryāya dharmarājāya dhīmate ||
«ပाण्डဝတို့အနက် ကျားသဖွယ်သူရဲကောင်းရေ၊ ရတနာမျိုးစုံကို ယူဆောင်၍ သွားလော့။ ဉာဏ်ပညာကြီးသော ဓမ္မရာဇ၏ အမှုတော်၌ အတားအဆီး မဖြစ်ပါစေနှင့်» ဟု ဆိုကြ၏။
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic kingship and auspicious intention: offerings and proper conduct should support a righteous ruler’s undertaking, and one should actively wish for (and work toward) the absence of obstacles in a just cause.
Vaiśaṃpāyana narrates an instruction addressed to a leading Pāṇḍava: he is told to go carrying all kinds of jewels as a formal offering/tribute, with a benediction that Dharmarāja’s (Yudhiṣṭhira’s) intended task should proceed without hindrance.
