यात्राकालस्य योग्यानि कर्माणि गरुडथ्वज: । कर्तुकाम: शुचिर्भूत्वा स्नातवान् समलंकृत:,तदनन्तर गरुडध्वज श्रीकृष्णने यात्राकालोचित कर्म करनेके लिये पवित्र हो स्नान करके अलंकार धारण किया
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | yātrākālasya yogyāni karmāṇi garuḍadhvajaḥ | kartukāmaḥ śucirbhūtvā snātavān samalaṅkṛtaḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်။ ဂရုဍသင်္ကေတတံခွန်ကို ထမ်းဆောင်သော ကృష్ణသည် ထွက်ခွာချိန်နှင့် ကိုက်ညီသော တာဝန်များကို ဆောင်ရွက်လိုသဖြင့် ကိုယ်ကို သန့်စင်ကာ ရေချိုးပြီးနောက် အလှဆင်တန်ဆာများကို ဝတ်ဆင်하였다။ ဤအကြောင်းအရာသည် မဟာခေါင်းဆောင်တောင် အရေးကြီးသော အလုပ်ကို သန့်ရှင်းမှု၊ ကိုယ်တိုင်ထိန်းသိမ်းမှုနှင့် သင့်လျော်သော အခမ်းအနားများဖြင့် စတင်ကြောင်းကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်။
