सूताभिजानीहि स्वकान् परान् वा रथान् ध्वजांश्वञापतत: समेतान् । युद्धवन् हाहं नाभिजानामि किंचि- न्मा सैन्यं स्वं छादयिष्ये पृषत्कै:
sañjaya uvāca |
sūtābhijānīhi svakān parān vā rathān dhvajāṃś cāpatataḥ sametān |
yuddhavan hāhaṃ nābhijānāmi kiñcin mā sainyaṃ svaṃ chādayiṣye pṛṣatkaiḥ ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်။ “စူတ၊ အဲဒီတစ်စုတစ်စည်းတည်း အပြေးအလွှား လာနေတဲ့ ရထားတွေ၊ အလံတွေကို—ငါတို့ဘက်လား ရန်သူဘက်လား—ခွဲခြားသိမှတ်ပေးပါ။ စစ်ပွဲအတွင်း ငါက ‘ငါ့ဘက်’ ‘သူ့ဘက်’ ဆိုတာ မသိနိုင်တော့ဘူး; ငါ့မြားတွေက ငါတို့စစ်တပ်ကိုပဲ ဖုံးလွှမ်းသွားမလား မဖြစ်စေချင်ဘူး။”
