तेनाद्य तप्स्ये भृशमप्रमेयं यच्छत्रुवर्गे नरक प्रविष्ट: । तदैव वाच्यो5स्मि ननु त्वयाहं न योत्स्ये5हं सूतपुत्रं कथंचित्
tenādya tapsye bhṛśam aprameyaṁ yac chatruvarge naraka praviṣṭaḥ | tadaiva vācyo ’smi nanu tvayāhaṁ na yotsye ’haṁ sūtaputraṁ kathaṁcit ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်— «ထိုအကြောင်းကြောင့် ယနေ့ ငါသည် အလွန်ပြင်းထန်၍ မတိုင်းမတာသော တပဿာကို ပြုမည်။ ရန်သူတပ်စုအလယ်၌ နరకသို့ ဝင်ကျသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လာသောကြောင့်ပင်။ အမှန်တကယ် သင်သည် ငါက မင်းအား တစ်ခါက ပြောခဲ့သည့်စကားကို သတိပေးနိုင်သည်— ‘မည်သည့်အခြေအနေမျိုးတွင်မဆို ငါသည် ရထားမောင်းသူ၏သားနှင့် မတိုက်ခိုက်မည်’ ဟူ၍။»
