अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

प्रत्यदृश्यत् ततः कर्ण: पज्चालांस्त्वरितो ययौ | उस समय पाण्डवों तथा हमलोगोंमेंसे कोई भी योद्धा युद्धसे मुँह फेरकर पीछे हटता नहीं दिखायी दिया। तब कर्णने तुरंत ही पांचालोंपर आक्रमण किया ।।
pratyadṛśyat tataḥ karṇaḥ pāñcālāṁs tvarito yayau |
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– ပाण्डဝတို့နှင့် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ စစ်သူရဲတို့အနက် မည်သူမျှ စစ်မှ မျက်နှာလှည့်၍ နောက်ဆုတ်သွားသည်ဟု မမြင်ရသဖြင့် ကာဏ္ဏ (အဓိရထိ၏သား) သည် ချက်ချင်းပင် အလျင်အမြန် ပဉ္စာလာတို့ထံသို့ တိုးဝင်တိုက်ခိုက်ကာ စစ်ပွဲ၏ မရပ်မနားသော အရှိန်ဖြင့် တိုက်ပွဲကို ရှေ့သို့ တွန်းတင်လေ၏။
