अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

ध्वजं कुरुपतेश्छिन्नं ददृशुः सर्वपार्थिवा: । समस्त राजाओंने देखा कि कुरुराज दुर्योधनका सोनेके अंगदोंसे विभूषित नाग- चिह्नयुक्त विचित्र, मणिमय एवं सुन्दर ध्वज कटकर धराशायी हो गया है
dhvajaṁ kurupateś chinnaṁ dadṛśuḥ sarvapārthivāḥ |
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်။ ကုရုတို့၏ အရှင်၏ အလံတော်သည် ဖြတ်ချခံရ၍ မြေပြင်သို့ လဲကျသွားသည်ကို မင်းများအားလုံး မြင်ကြ၏။ စစ်၏ ဓမ္မအလင်းအရိပ်အတွင်း၌ ရာဇအလံတော်ကျခြင်းသည် စစ်ရေးအရှုံးတစ်ခုသာ မဟုတ်ဘဲ ဂုဏ်သိက္ခာနှင့် ယုံကြည်မှုကို ထိခိုက်စေသော ထိုးနှက်ချက်ဖြစ်ပြီး အာဏာနှင့် အလှပြအထင်ကရမှုတို့ပေါ် မူတည်၍ တည်မြဲနေသော အဓမ္မမာနသည် လျော့နည်းလာမည်ကို ကြိုတင်ညွှန်ပြသည်။
