Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
हंसस्य पतितं काको बलवानाशुविक्रम: । तब वहाँ आये हुए सारे कौए जोर-जोरसे हँसने लगे और आपसमें बोले--“भला यह हंस एक ही उड़ानसे सौ प्रकारकी उड़ानोंको कैसे जीत सकता है? यह कौआ बलवान् और शीघ्रतापूर्वक उड़नेवाला है; अतः सौमेंसे एक ही उड़ानद्वारा हंसकी उड़ानको पराजित कर देगा'
haṃsasya patitaṃ kāko balavān āśu-vikramaḥ |
“ကျီးတစ်ကောင်က ဟံသာပေါ်သို့ ကျရောက်တိုက်ခိုက်လာသည်—အားကြီး၍ လျင်မြန်စွာ ထိုးဝင်တတ်၏။” ထိုအခါ ထိုနေရာသို့ စုဝေးလာသော ကျီးတို့သည် အသံကျယ်ကျယ် ရယ်မောကြပြီး အချင်းချင်း ပြောကြ၏—“ဟံသာက ပျံသန်းတစ်မျိုးတည်းနဲ့ ပျံသန်းနည်း တစ်ရာမျိုးကို ဘယ်လိုအနိုင်ယူနိုင်မလဲ? ဒီကျီးက အားကောင်းပြီး လှုပ်ရှားမှုလည်း မြန်တယ်။ ထို့ကြောင့် တစ်ရာထဲက တစ်မျိုးတည်းနဲ့ပဲ ဟံသာရဲ့ ပျံသန်းမှုကို အနိုင်ယူလိမ့်မယ်!”
