शिक्षाप्रमादश्न बल॑ धृतिश्न द्रोणे महास्त्राणि च संनतिश्न । स चेदगान्मृत्युवशं महात्मा सव्वनिन्यानातुरानद्य मन्ये

sañjaya uvāca | śikṣāpramādaś ca balaṃ dhṛtiś ca droṇe mahāstrāṇi ca saṃnatiś ca | sa ced agān mṛtyuvaśaṃ mahātmā sarvān nṛṇām āturān adya manye ||

သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်။ သင်ကြားမှုနှင့် စည်းကမ်း၊ သတိပေးကာကွယ်မှု၊ အားမာန်၊ မလှုပ်မယှက် သတ္တိ၊ မဟာလက်နက်တို့ကို ကျွမ်းကျင်မှု၊ နှိမ့်ချမှု—ဤကောင်းဂုဏ်အားလုံးသည် ဒ್ರೋဏ၌ ရှိနေ하였다။ ထိုမဟာစိတ်ရှိသူ ဒ್ರೋဏပင် မရဏ၏ အာဏာအောက်သို့ ကျရောက်သွားလျှင် ယနေ့ အခြားလူအားလုံးကိုလည်း သေမင်းနီးကပ်သူများဟု ငါယူဆသည်။
