कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
ततो भूयोअब्रवीद् देवो देवानिन्द्रपुरोगमान्,तब महादेवजीने पुन: इन्द्र आदि देवताओंसे कहा--“शायद ये दैत्योंको न मारें' ऐसा समझकर तुम्हें किसी प्रकार भी शोक नहीं करना चाहिये। तुमलोग असुरोंको इस बाणसे “मरा हुआ' ही समझो”
tato bhūyo ’bravīd devo devān indrapurogāmān | tataḥ mahādevaḥ punar indra-ādi-devatābhyaḥ uvāca—“śāyad etān daityān na mārayeyuḥ” iti matvā yuṣmābhiḥ kathaṃcid api śoko na kartavyaḥ | yūyaṃ asurān etena bāṇena “mṛtān eva” manyadhvam ||
ထို့နောက် ဘုရားသခင်တော်သည် အင်ဒြာဦးဆောင်သော နတ်တော်တို့အား ထပ်မံ မိန့်ကြားတော်မူ၏။ မဟာဒေဝက အင်ဒြာနှင့် အခြားနတ်တော်တို့အား—«‘ဒီ ဒိုင်တျာတို့ မသတ်နိုင်ဘူးထင်’ ဟု စိတ်မပူကြနှင့်။ မည်သို့မျှ ဝမ်းနည်းမနေကြနှင့်။ ဤမြားတံဖြင့် အဆုရာတို့ကို သေပြီးသားဟု မှတ်ယူကြလော့» ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
