Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 20 — Yudhiṣṭhira–Duryodhana Encounter and Escalation of Arms
बाणज्यातलशब्देन द्यां दिश: प्रदिशो वियत् । पृथिवीं नेमिघोषेण नादयन्तो<5भ्ययु: परान्
bāṇajyātalaśabdena dyāṃ diśaḥ pradiśo viyat | pṛthivīṃ nemighoṣeṇa nādayanto 'bhyayuḥ parān ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– လေးကြိုးတင်းသံ၏ ချွန်ထက်သော တင်ကာသံနှင့် ရထားဘီးများ၏ တောက်တောက်မြည်သံကြောင့် စစ်သူရဲတို့သည် ကောင်းကင်၊ အရပ်အနှံ့နှင့် အလယ်အရပ်များ၊ အာကာသအလယ်ပိုင်းနှင့် မြေပြင်တစ်လျှောက်ကို အသံတုန်လှုပ်စေကာ၊ မိုးကြိုးသံကဲ့သို့ ကြီးမားသော ဆူညံသံကို ထူထောင်လျက် ရန်သူပေါ်သို့ တိုးဝင်လာကြ၏။ ဤကဗျာပိုဒ်သည် စစ်ပွဲ၏ လှိုင်းတံပိုးကဲ့သို့ အလွန်အမင်းသော အရှိန်အဟုန်ကို ထင်ဟပ်စေပြီး—စစ်အင်အားနှင့် စုပေါင်းအင်အားက ရန်သူကို ဖိအားပေးကာ စစ်၏ ရုန်းကန်မှုအတွင်း သတ္တိနှင့် တာဝန်ကို စမ်းသပ်နေကြောင်းကို ပြသ၏။
