Pāṇḍya-vadha-anantaram Arjunasya Pravṛttiḥ
Arjuna’s Response and the Renewed Battle
ततो<विध्यद् भ्रुवोर्मध्ये नाराचेनार्जुनो भृशम् । स तेन विबभीौ द्रौणिरूर्ध्वरश्मिर्यथा रवि:,तत्पश्चात् अर्जुनने एक नाराचसे अभश्वत्थामाकी दोनों भौंहोंके मध्यभागमें गहरा आघात पहुँचाया। ललाटमें धँसे हुए उस बाणसे अश्वत्थामा ऊपरकी ओर उठी हुई किरणोंवाले सूर्यके समान सुशोभित होने लगा
tato ’vidhyad bhruvormadhye nārācena arjuno bhṛśam | sa tena vibabhau drauṇir ūrdhvaraśmir yathā raviḥ ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်။ ထို့နောက် အာర్జုနသည် ဒ್ರೋဏ၏သား အရှ္ဝတ္ထာမန်ကို နာရာစ မြားတစ်စင်းဖြင့် မျက်ခုံးနှစ်ဖက်ကြားသို့ ပြင်းထန်စွာ ထိုးနှက်하였다။ ထိုမြားသည် နဖူးတွင် စိုက်ကပ်နေသဖြင့် ဒြောဏိသည် အပေါ်သို့ လှံတံကဲ့သို့ ရောင်ခြည်များ ထွက်ပေါ်နေသော နေမင်းကဲ့သို့ တောက်ပလင်းလက်လာ၏။
