धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणरथारोহণं सात्यकेः प्रतिरक्षणं च | Dhrishtadyumna Boards Droṇa’s Chariot; Sātyaki’s Counter-Protection
स्वेषां प्रियहिते युक्त पितृणां जयगृद्धिनम् । न च पूर्व प्रह्तारिं संग्रामे नष्टसम्भ्रमम्
sveṣāṃ priyahite yuktaṃ pitṝṇāṃ jayagṛddhinam | na ca pūrva-prahartāraṃ saṅgrāme naṣṭa-sambhramam ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– «သူသည် မိမိဘက်၏ ချစ်ခင်ရာနှင့် အကျိုးရှိရာကို ထိန်းသိမ်းရယူရန် အမြဲတမ်း အားထုတ်သူဖြစ်၍၊ အဘိုးအဘွားနှင့် အကြီးအကဲတို့အတွက် အောင်ပွဲကို လိုလားတောင့်တသူလည်း ဖြစ်၏။ စစ်မြေပြင်၌လည်း သူသည် အလျင်အမြန် ပထမဦးဆုံး ထိုးနှက်သူမျိုး မဟုတ်ဘဲ—စိတ်မလှုပ်ရှား မပျက်မကွက်၊ ရှုပ်ထွေးမှုကြောင့် မတုန်လှုပ်ဘဲ တည်ငြိမ်စွာ တိုက်ခိုက်သူဖြစ်၏»။
