Chapter 30: Formation Disruption, Competing War-Cries, and Nīla’s Fall
Droṇa-parva
निहतौ भ्रातरौ दृष्टवा मायाशतविशारद: । कृष्णौ सम्मोहयन् मायां विदधे शकुनिस्तत:,अपने दोनों भाइयोंको मारा गया देख सैकड़ों मायाओंके प्रयोगमें निपुण शकुनिने श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनको मोहित करते हुए उनके प्रति मायाका प्रयोग किया
nihatāu bhrātarau dṛṣṭvā māyāśataviśāradaḥ | kṛṣṇau sammohayan māyāṃ vidadhe śakunistasthaḥ ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်။ မိမိ၏ ညီအစ်ကိုနှစ်ဦး သတ်ဖြတ်ခံရသည်ကို မြင်လျှင်၊ လှည့်ကွက်လိမ်လည်မှု ရာပေါင်းများစွာကို ကျွမ်းကျင်သော သကူနိသည် ကృష్ణနှင့် အာర్జုနကို မောဟဖြစ်စေရန် မာယာကို သုံး၍ လှည့်စားလေ၏။
संजय उवाच
The verse contrasts righteous warfare with deceptive manipulation: when driven by sorrow and revenge, a person may resort to māyā (delusion/illusion), signaling a slide toward adharma and moral confusion even amid a dharma-yuddha setting.
After Śakuni sees his two brothers killed, he retaliates by using his expertise in deceptive tactics, casting an illusion intended to confuse Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna on the battlefield.
