धर्मसंस्थापनार्थ हि प्रतिज्ैषा ममाव्यया । ब्रह्म सत्यं दम: शौचं धर्मों द्वी: श्रीर्धृति: क्षमा
dharmasaṁsthāpanārtha hi pratijñaiṣā mamāvyayā | brahma satyaṁ damaḥ śaucaṁ dharmo dvīḥ śrīr dhṛtiḥ kṣamā ||
ဝါယုဒေဝက ပြောသည်– «ဓမ္မကို တည်ထောင်ရန်အတွက် ဤသည်မှာ ငါ၏ မပျက်မယွင်း သစ္စာကတိဖြစ်သည်– ဘြဟ္မ (သန့်ရှင်းသော သစ္စာ), သစ္စာပြောခြင်း, ကိုယ်ကို ထိန်းချုပ်ခြင်း, သန့်ရှင်းမှု, ဓမ္မတရားကိုယ်တိုင်, တည်ကြည်မှု, သာယာချမ်းသာမှု, သတ္တိခိုင်မာမှု, နှင့် ခွင့်လွှတ်ခြင်း»။
