दृष्टवा कर्ण महाबाहुमुच्चै: शब्दमथानदन् । राजन्! यशस्वी पाण्डव और पांचालोंने महाबाहु कर्णको देखकर उच्चस्वरसे इस प्रकार कहना आस्मभ किया
dṛṣṭvā karṇaṃ mahābāhum uccaiḥ śabdam athānadān | rājan! yaśasvī pāṇḍavāḥ pañcālāś ca mahābāhuṃ karṇaṃ dṛṣṭvā uccasvarena evaṃ vaktum ārabdhāḥ |
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– လက်မောင်းကြီးသော ကဏ္ဏကို မြင်သော်၊ ဂုဏ်သတင်းကျော်ကြားသော ပाण्डဝတို့နှင့် ပဉ္စာလတို့သည် အသံကို မြင့်စွာ ထုတ်လွှင့်ကြ၏။ အို မင်းကြီး၊ ထိုမဟာသူရဲကောင်း ကဏ္ဏကို မြင်ပြီးနောက် သူတို့သည် ဤသို့ ပြောဆိုရန် စတင်ကြ၏။
