ततो विस्फार्य नयने धनुज्यामवमृज्य च | तलशब्दं महत् कृत्वा द्रोणस्तं समुपाद्रवत्,तब द्रोणाचार्यने आँखें फाड़-फाड़कर देखते हुए धनुषकी डोरी साफ कर महान् टंकारघोष करके सिंहसेनपर आक्रमण किया
tato visphārya nayane dhanujyām avamṛjya ca | talaśabdaṁ mahat kṛtvā droṇas taṁ samupādravat ||
ထို့နောက် ဒြောဏသည် မျက်လုံးများကို ကျယ်ပြန့်စွာ ဖွင့်၍ တင်းမာသော စိတ်ဓာတ်ဖြင့် လေးကြိုးကို သုတ်သင်ကာ ပြင်ဆင်하였다။ ထို့ပြင် လေးတံခါးသံကြီးကို ထုတ်ကာ သူ့ထံသို့ တန်းတန်းမတ်မတ် တိုက်ခိုက်ရန် ပြေးဝင်သွား၏။
