अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

तत्प्रभग्नं बल॑ दृष्टवा द्रोणेनामिततेजसा । नाशवनुवन् वारयितुं समस्तास्ते महारथा:
tatprabhagnaṃ balaṃ dṛṣṭvā droṇenāmitatejasā | nāśakan nu vārayituṃ samastās te mahārathāḥ ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– မတိုင်းတာနိုင်သော တေဇောဓာတ်ရှိသည့် ဒြောဏာကြောင့် မိမိတို့ စစ်တပ်၏ စည်းရုံးပုံ ပျက်စီးသွားသည်ကို မြင်သော်၊ မဟာရထတို့အားလုံးသည် အတူတကွ ကြိုးပမ်းကြသော်လည်း သူ့ကို တားဆီးမနိုင်ခဲ့ကြ။
