अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः
Yudhiṣṭhira–Śrutāyu encounter; Cekitāna–Gautama clash; Abhimanyu pressure; Arjuna’s redeployment
प्रविष्टो धार्तराष्ट्राणामेतद् बलमहार्णवम् | तब विशोकने हाथ जोड़कर धूृष्टद्युम्नसे कहा--'प्रभो! पराक्रमी और बलवान् पाण्डुनन्दन मुझे यहीं खड़ा करके कौरवोंके इस सैन्यसागरमें घुस गये हैं ।।
sañjaya uvāca |
praviṣṭo dhārtarāṣṭrāṇām etad balamahārṇavam |
mām uktvā puruṣavyāghraḥ prītiyuktam idaṃ vacaḥ ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြော၏—“ဓာတရാഷ്ട്രတို့၏ စစ်တပ်ကြီး မဟာသမုဒ္ဒရာကဲ့သို့သော အစုအဝေးထဲသို့ ဝင်ရောက်သွားပြီးနောက် လူတို့အတွင်း ကျားကဲ့သို့သော ဘီမသည် ငါ့ကို နောက်တွင် ထားခဲ့ကာ ချစ်ခင်စွာ ဤသို့ ပြောခဲ့၏—‘ရထားမောင်း၊ ဤမြင်းများကို ဒီမှာ ထိန်းထား၍ ငါ့ကို မုဟူရတ နှစ်ခါတိုင်တိုင် စောင့်နေပါ; ငါ့ကို သတ်ရန် အားထုတ်နေသော သူတို့ကို ယနေ့ ငါ သုတ်သင်မပြီးမချင်း။’”
